Re: Undefined function 'Nz' in expression

Query works for me as well but there is definitely something wrong with the form

You have the expression = Nz([Num];0) with a semicolon
I renamed the control txtNum to get rid of the circular...

Agree with DBG.
As well as all the points in that link, see this article for additional reasons not to use them http://www.mendipdatasystems.co.uk/table-lookup-fields/4594445135

Re: what does your username mean?

Indeed. The flush toilet was invented by Alexander Cumming though Thomas Crapper did invent the ballcock.

So we could all instead be saying Not a good idea me thinks

Re: Removing Form Icon

Gina
I assume you meant a borderless form. I didn't suggest that as the OP wanted a different form icon rather than none.

Re: sending text messages by email

Hi
Thanks for the tip.
For info, I moved this from the repository as its not a code solution. Also so its easier for others to reply.

In fact I'd seen that article a couple of years ago when...

Re: remove the "Unknown Publisher" security warning

The scripting in Inno is doing exactly the same thing.
Note the double backslashes in folder paths for the reg entries.

You can also remove entries using script and, if you want, use hex values...

Re: Removing Form Icon

I don't think it can be done without using module code ...but someone may prove me wrong
Here's how I do it.

Create a standard module and add this code

Option Compare Database
Option Explicit...

Re: The Surface Go 10" and Access Office 365

Yes I'm serious. Mods delete multiple instances of spam each day and ban the perpetrators as appropriate.
As you aren't a new member I merely provided a bit of balance.
No need for you to get...

Re: The Surface Go 10" and Access Office 365

Is that an Oz term like we use dipstick here?

The point was valid - if you were a new member it would probably have been deleted as spam and led to a ban.

Re: The Surface Go 10" and Access Office 365

Just wondering how much MS paid you for this glowing advert!

In the interests of balance, I'll just say that I've purchased a Linx1010B Windows tablet about 4 years ago.
I installed...

Re: limit number of records in subform base on a field select on MainForm

That's a nice simple solution for the OP
You need the +1 so you can enter data in the final (max) record allowed

I've modified the code supplied to add Option Explicit and error checking.
This...

Re: Access error -query is corrupt

The solution I copied from MSDN forums means that no queries need to be amended. Instead you are temporarily changing table names by adding a suffix. When MS release a fix, the process is reversed....
