Instead of deleting, could you just mark them as deleted/not active with a flag?
Then perhaps delete periodically if necessary?

My understanding is that if you use unbound controls, you update/append with a query.?
If bound controls, then you save as a matter of course and can force a save.

Well I think the DISTINCT option is better, but the logic remains the same for GROUP BY.
You join by Delivery Number, but do not include in query output, just Shipment and Date.?

The attachments would be stored in a folder(s) and either hyperlinked or just simply the path to the attachment.?

However if you say 'We need all attachments to be with the record not in a folder...
