Re: Ribbon Buttons Missing

Thank you for all of your responses.

Micron: I honestly can't remember whether I progressively added the buttons or not. However, I have both closed and reopened and executed a compact/repair to...

Re: ReportSpecs MDE Source Code

I've modified both the ReportUtilities suite and ReportSpecs library for use with Access 2016 64-bit and consolidated them into a single ACCDB.
I'd like to upload it here for others to reference but...

Re: ReportSpecs MDE Source Code

That's strange because GlobalAlloc (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/desktop/api/winbase/nf-winbase-globalalloc) also has a SIZE_T parameter and API Viewer indicates to use LongPtr for this...

Re: ReportSpecs MDE Source Code

According to Microsoft's documentation (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/desktop/devnotes/rtlmovememory), the last parameter is of type SIZE_T.
As far as I know, size_t is 64 bits on 64-bit...

Re: ReportSpecs MDE Source Code

That tool is incredibly handy.

I was able to find x64 equivalents of all API calls except the following:

Private Declare Sub hmemcpy32 Lib "kernel32" Alias "RtlMoveMemory" (lpDest As Any,...

Re: ReportSpecs MDE Source Code

That was my first thought so I put a breakpoint on an API call that uses a handle to see if it was invoked.
The following APIs are definitely called:

Private Declare PtrSafe Function...

Re: ReportSpecs MDE Source Code

I added PtrSafe keyword to all Declare statements and decided to give it a try before I moved on to LongLong/LongPtr replacements. It seems to work without issue.
Is this because I just happen to be...

Re: ReportSpecs MDE Source Code

Steve graciously provided me with the source code!
Is there a way to upload it here for the next poor sap to come looking for it?

Now for the fun task of making all of the API calls in both the...

Re: ReportSpecs MDE Source Code

Well then, I'm optimistically hoping it will just work if I do that as well.

I was able to run it with Access 2016 32-bit. Did you download the A2K version?

I figured I'd end up having to...

Re: ReportSpecs MDE Source Code

Not yet, that's my next hurdle. I was optimistically (foolishly) hoping it would just work if I just stuck "PtrSafe" in front of all of the "Declare" statements.

Re: ReportSpecs MDE Source Code

I'm hoping I can find another...

I have sent an email to Attac Consulting but thought I'd post here as well.

ReportSpecs MDE Source Code

This is a long shot but I figured I might as well try.

I made use of the ReportUtilities suite developed by Stephan Lebans in a project to convert an Access report to Word document.
This...

Tab Index Not Being Respected

I have a form that jumps from Tab Index 25 to Tab Index 33 even though there are controls with Tab Index 26, 27, etc.
Tab Stop is set to Yes for the skipped controls.

Any ideas?

Re: Suppress "missing reference" error caused by referenced MDE

I was thinking I'd have to run regsvr32 or the like, I didn't realize it was as simple as placing the DLL in the application folder.

Re: VBA Syntax: IF variable is NOT in list
