Thank you for your suggestions, which I have tried without success.

Your code is entered as
Me.TargetDate=Date()

and then it is automatically changed to
Me.TargetDate = Date

Thank you with your suggestion for having a "Link Child Fields" and "Link Master Fields" in the subform.

We had used the wrong field type for our Hyper Links, now that the field has been changed to text our Hyper Link Binocular Button works
