Got it working the way I want with a combination of your two answers

=[Form].[CurrentRecord] & " of " & Count([TrainingUser])

This gives me what I wanted "1 of 10"

Yeah, that's all I'm trying to do. The code for the current record number works but the code for the number of records keeps returning Name? errors. Might be because RecordsetClone and record count...

Hi,

Wondering how to make a text box on a form display the record number so it can be seen along side record selector buttons.

I'd rather have my own then use the record selector option...
