Re: Code help with Forms

I haven't been following the previous thread but I've got past that issue.
However you'll still have issues on the subsequent form.
I think it needs a redesign but as I'm not sure what you're...

No problem - I've been called far worse.
My email is a link in my signature line beside my actual name! ;)
Please compact, zip & give me all info I need to look at it.
Probably won't be...

Re: Developing Custom Classes to Simulate User Controls

At several users' request & with MajP's agreement, I copied this from post #60 of a lengthy thread Access OOP examples wanted (https://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=270135)....

Re: run-time error 449 Argument Not Optional

Hi Jess
I'd prefer to have the Access app itself (after removing anything irrelevant or confidential ) so I can test using exactly what you are using, Thanks

One more thing before you do so....

Re: Access emails without outlook

Debbie
After further testing, you need to be aware that inline images in email are blocked by certain programs.

I sent a copy to 2 different email accounts (IMAP & POP3) and tested opening it in...

Re: Access OOP examples wanted

Aha. Remembered how to do it!
Obviously had a brain freeze earlier as I've done it many times before!

I've now copied post #60 plus your extra sentence & quote to the repository...

Re: run-time error 449 Argument Not Optional

Jess
I'm not sure what to look for at the Qualtrics API site but it would appear that an API key is required (as is standard).
Sorry but I have no intention of obtaining my own API in order to...

Re: run-time error 449 Argument Not Optional

I'll try & look later.
Its a valid JSON file but I know nothing about Qualtrics or its API
Do you have a link?
If it needs an account, could you PM me with any API key info if relevant

You may...

Re: run-time error 449 Argument Not Optional

Jess
MajP sent me a PM asking me to look at this thread.
To save me time needing to read through the whole thread in detail, can you please summarise what the issue is.
Is it your code or have you...

Have a look at my CDO EMail Tester (http://www.mendipdatasystems.co.uk/email-tester/4594365455) example app

The HTML option includes an example image:...

It gets one hit...

Re: Access OOP examples wanted

MajP

Hmmm. Not as easy as I thought.
Whilst its easy to move an entire thread (which isn't appropriate here), there seems to be no obvious way I can move or copy just one post. :banghead:

So,...

Re: Possible to clear clip board by VBA in Access 2007?

I've not kept up with this thread.
The code in post #14 is from my example which I know works in A2007.

If that doesn't work for you then you must be either applying or testing it differently...

Re: Forum software change - yay or nay?

Oops. My answer in post #77 was completely off the point.
I misread the question and thought you meant how do you find example links to provide as answers.

Re: Feature wish list (if we change forum platform)

I agree with the last reply. In what ways is the resources manager fundamentally different from what we already have?

I did click on one link on that xenforo page which made me laugh...

Re: Forum software change - yay or nay?

I use advanced search based on my memory of good examples relevant to the question asked (both topic and author).
The top ten lists are irrelevant to this process as they are all water cooler...

I'm more than happy to move MajP's examples to Sample Databases or Code Samples if he wants me to do so.

However mods aren't able to create new subforums so I can't create a separate area. Only...

I regularly refer back to a number of threads in order to provide links in new posts. At the moment I store these in browser favourites. Doing so in the forum itself would be better.

Good idea...
