the first thing you need to understand is data normalisation. This is the basis on which you design your tables and relationships. Once your tables are designed, then you can go on to develop your...

Re: Forum software change - yay or nay?

I guess the question I would ask is why? Why would the site lose so much traffic? Is it because the search engines don't recognise it? users don't like the new experience? Perhaps the stats are wrong...

Re: image movement

you could give your labels names that match their order with some calculations to determine side.
e.g.

Go=lbl00
OldKentRoad=lbl01
Pentonville=lbl09
Jail=lbl10
Mayfair=lbl39
etc

Re: Creating a Form and Report from Multiple tables

I've taken a quick look at your db and it looks like you are applying an Excel logic to your thinking.

1. I haven't checked all of them but you have an awful lot of multiple queries, one for each...

you can disable the macro option for events by going to File>Options>Object Designers - Form/Report Design View and tick the 'always use event procedures' option.

However not sure if this works...

Re: how to subtract between last two rows using VBA

there are a number of things to be clarified - perhaps obvious to you, but potentially can cause problems.

Define 'last record'. databases have no inherent sense of order. data is stored randomly....
