    Solved CanShrink in reports detail.

Something like this should work (Dcount on that query would tell you if there are records returned or not): IIF(dCount("*","QSalesQuotationItemAcc","OrderID = " & OrderID) =0,>0,< DMin("POSITION","QSalesQuotationItemAcc","OrderID = " &OrderID)) Cheers,

Not sure what do you mean by that, what should happen if there is no OrderID? Can you show a sample? Cheers,

You might also try this: Dim strURL As String strURL = "http://admin:jTZ27imOh2@192.168.90.24/command.htm?number=12345678&outgoing_uri=URI" CreateObject("Shell.Application").Open CVar(strURL)

    Error when calling a URL

Have you tried it without the brackets? Application.FollowHyperlink "http://admin:jTZ27imOh2@192.168.90.24/command.htm?number=99358535&outgoing_uri=URI" No need for the other two arguments as the first is empty and the second (NewWindow) already defaults to False. Cheers,

MailMerge: Display Email before Send (wdSendToEmail)

I'm afraid it cannot be done in your current context, the built in Word mail-merge emailing doesn't have a Display. Your options are to automate Outlook programmatically and get the move through the Word mail-merge records and get the content to be used as the Outlook message BodyHTML or maybe...

Query based report showing wrong column/field...

Oh, I see, thanks for the clarification, what I meant was going to the lookup tab and selecting a combo or list box then setting the multi-value to Yes.

Query based report showing wrong column/field...

Yes, in the Lookup tab of the field in table design, isn't that called the lookup "wizard"?

    Solved CanShrink in reports detail.

Create a totals query (qryLast_AC) where you Group by Left([Part_No]),2) ="AC" and get Last_AC:Max([Position]) then in the report 3 record source you filter the Position field to be greater then Last_AC: >dlookup("Last_AC","qryLast_AC") Cheers,

Query based report showing wrong column/field...

@Pat Hartman - I know that Pat, that's why I said it is a type of lookup because you can't set up a multi-value field without the Lookup wizard. The problem for the OP was showing the concatenated text values instead of the concatenated bound IDs; if you just eliminate the lookup as proposed...

Query based report showing wrong column/field...

I think that is caused by a multivalue field (which is a type of lookup) so you would need to replace it with a join table (and a form\subform structure for adding and editing those 1-to-many relationships). Here is some more info on this topic...

Really struggling with cleaning this excel data when imported to Access

The table solution is great as it would allow the options to grow with no extra code; in the meanwhile try this please (it needed an extra Trim to deal with the spaces): IIf(Right(Trim([CustomerContacted]),1)="?","Unanswered",Trim(Replace([CustomerContacted],"Was the customer contacted?","")))...
