sometimes the user needs to see all but most of the time user needs active only. 2 forms and queries or one form and modify? Not sure how to modify the query on opening the form

I have a form that list all of my estimates. Question is: Should I create a separate form to show all of the active estimates and open that form when I want only the active estimates OR Should I modify the properties of the form to use a query that limits the list to only active forms?

I have a function that does a multitude of things, it has an Input Box that returns a value, but if the user selects cancel for the input, the function should exit, if the input box returns a value, the function should continue to run. In the code below my function keeps exiting at this line...

So are you saying dcount will check the existence of the quote number entered into the input box and return it if it’s there? Or does it just return 1 for true and 0 for false? Thank you

Found my problem, it wasn't the Dlookup, it was the order of my statements in the procedure. I am actually checking to see if a quote number exists, then if it does, copy the quote data to a new order, otherwise i will open the order form in what I call an "on the fly order" - one that does not...
