i agree with those pointers. re no 7 - last week i was riding along a road in chiswick coming up to a junction where a minor road joined the road i was on from the left. first car was stationary at line waiting for me to pass, eye contact made and all ok. I spotted another car slowly...

some of them can reach 500 hp....people stick turbos onto a hayabusa (sp?). way too much power for one back wheel to handle. i bet you get to hear a lot of race exhausts on those modified bikes too...some of them are pretty loud.

the coppers over here don't seem to care either...and the courts are too busy to deal with 'trivial' motoring offences. although i am glad that the cps (crown prosecution service) are having a public consultation about how to punish driving offences - CPS consultation tonight i will be mostly...

an idiot who gives the rest of us a bad name.....another example of this is the chap called 'ghostrider'....have a search on u-tube for him - he (or they) must be brilliant riders but driving like that on roads is suicidal:(

true....i feel i am aware of the other road users but still get the occasional incident. i guess that's why i should get further training to develop awareness to a higher level. i did my car test 12 odd years ago now....i was more confident before that test than the bike test. i was caking...

hmmm....guilty as charged your honour:o ! well, i do filter through moving traffic but not when it is moving at more than 10/15mph. i tend to use couriers as a guide here...if i'm filtering and keeping up with them i know i am pushing too hard! when the cars pick up speed i always drop into...

yup....artics seem to co-ordiante themselves when one tries to overtake the other with a speed differential of .5mph! clogs up the lanes for a number of miles until one of them gives way (which they never want to do as they try to drive at set speed for efficiency). middle lane hoggers i do...

evening all, as a recently passed (:D ) motorbike rider i feel i'm pretty safe on the road and very observant after the training i have had. however, i've almost had a few incidents with other motorists. i've read opinions from other bikers that if you get involved in incidents then even if...

    display parameter value

Afternoon All, Right then.....i have a query which I use to search the database, users click a command button to open up the query and then are prompted to enter the parameter value. The results are then displayed in a form - what I want to do is to display the search term used at the top of...

depends what bus lane it is in london, some only operate part time, some allow bikes too and some are 24 hrs and no bikes at all. just got to make sure you don't ride in front of a bus with a camera:D sv is great at commuting.....filters so easily. i'm now being held up by riders of fat slow...

What is the best breed of dog for a family pet?

my family had a lob and then a cocker spaniel when i was a kid...both breeds are good with kids (although what vass said is true....the upbringing has an awful lot to do with it...go for those lessons). if you can find it there is some uk programme called dog borstal which is pretty good...
