Hello All, I am wondering if any of you might know why it is that whenever i make changes to my access 97 query design, the changes sometimes appear on the report, sometimes don't, but in all the cases where they do appear, always revert back to the way they were before, after a few minutes...
I am completely confused, but it is now working. I went back and tried again today (the steps you had told me to do) and it worked. I do not know why it wouldn't allow me to do it last week, saying that it was view/read only? But, it works now and I guess that is all that counts.

yes, i understand that i am just viewing the document, but in this instance, i am not even given the option to open it from its current location, it only allows me to save it. sorry, i may be out to lunch here, but is there a way to open it from its current location all of the time? i hope...
Great, "always prompt" would work, but apparently it has been set up as read only and won't allow me to change it. is there an easy way to make this NOT read only, so that i can fix this link?
