Yeah totally off base, i have a form with name, number date etc... i have a search button, click the search button and search for a number, the number is found and added to the form with a name date etc.. i want to search again but need to clear the data in the form when i previously...

The same record may need to be shown more than once at different times. I think i am sorted, i am using the new blank record button at the bottom of the screen before searching again and it is finding the record. Thanks for your help

Ok, no-one but me needs to see the calculation, so if i create a different form can i create a calculation on it. the calculation will take in how many quotes have been converted into orders. how do i create i calculation??

Im not sure, (advice would be appreciated) Would i be best to create another form to do this?? so i could have a drop down menu with agents names in it then when you select one i could have another calculation button that will show the final calculation. Is this possible??

the exact calculation that i need is the total quotes / total orders so i can see the percentage of quotes that is converted into orders by each individual. Would i need to create another another table with all the users in the table or could i do this by creating another form?? i dont...

P.S I need to add in a calculation at some point as well calculating the orders/quotes, any tips........

Ok, im in a whole new world of pain now, after creating the button to search for number in my database i cannot now enter data through my form, when i get to the last entry i press enter and its juming onto the button to search for another number. any ideas how do i bypass this??? :confused:

Only people adding records to the form Ruralguy, Is there any way of them not seeing the table and only being able to see the form, so when they click on it it is just the form that is opened and the table is updated. also can you add a calculation to access like the ones you use in excel...
