thanks.. works .. thanks .. :o edit: can i sort them without changing the field type. as i sometimes have to add serial like 'x' for some items.

Hello everyone, i have a table with customer on top and his items with serial below, the problem is these items are being sorted by first digit of serial only. e.g: serial nos. 1,2,3,10,11,23 are sorted in this order > 1 10 11 2 23 3 any help on how to fix this ? thanks in advance !!!!
