You are a Racist, a Bigot and a Sexist.

I think you need to re-read what I and Brian have both said. Being we are both in the UK I can understand what he saying in regards to the legal changes here in the UK, and I am actually in a way pointing out that what Brian is saying is in no way (IMHO) bigoted, he's just pointing out the...

You are a Racist, a Bigot and a Sexist.

TBF to Brian, Civil Unions/Partnerships in the UK grants all legal rights that come with Marriage. The key point in the UK is that they can now get married in a church if that church agrees to marry them. If it is against the churches beliefs they cannot be forced into marrying a gay couple. I...

You are a Racist, a Bigot and a Sexist.

The 'Bigot' label in Scotland is thrown about like a ball in Scotland, in other words, far too much. To explain why would take a hell of a lot of time.

    Data Analyst/Report Writer

I think we're starting to see crystal reports being phased out in favour of BOXI/Wi, with many of the aspects of CR being incorporated into BOXI/Wi. Given that SAP own both product lines I would see why they would want to go down that route. I dont think there been a new version of CR in a few...

Why is it when gun laws come up in the states, theres always some yahoo going on about "if the govt get out of line" type stuff? Is that not what elections are for? maybe someone should tell these people! this made me laugh! As galaxiom has said, its not unique at all, all criminal trials in...

Out of the mouth of babes

should have laughed in her face, and said 'come back and tell me that in a year', you cold also point her to the fact that RDBM's such as Oracle, SQL Server are at a price that not everyone can afford and using Oracle for a small business is like putting a ferrari engine into a car thats limited...

Company wont hire programmers with tatoo (policy)

haha, drank plenty whisky when I was younger and had a bad experience with it, never again, even the smell of it takes me back to that "experience" :(

Company wont hire programmers with tatoo (policy)

professional, not so sure, evening dress maybe I wear mine on holiday and such (and of course weddings), and if you're going to wear it, do it like a man, commando! (there's a good reason for that, a proper kilt is extremely warm)

    US visa

I would say that having a degree means you are more than capable of understanding the basic concepts and are able to learn at a higher level. I agree though that education in certain fields needs to be continual and its the one thing I realised very quickly ie after graduation I soon realised my...

Company wont hire programmers with tatoo (policy)

Yes, it does mean you would be disadvantaged but I would still take the view that it is wrong to take such a view, but even then there are varying degree's of what would be acceptable as someone already mentioned, for example having a swastika on your forehead (granted, an extreme one).

Company wont hire programmers with tatoo (policy)

that will always be the case but irrelevant to the subject at hand. If you are interviewing, you would have short listed people for interview, so you come across someone who is very talented but has a tattoo on his forearm that you can just make out through his shirt, so you hire the person or...

    US visa

If you are talking about a degree in databases then the BSc is called Business Information Systems, includes database administration, business analyst, systems analyst, project management or indeed the one that I done which is Network computing which is split across Networks (about 75% of...

    Gun laws do they work

Well for a start you certainly wouldn't go through someone else to phone 911, Common sense would tell you to phone 911 direct, therefore, she's an idiot.

    Gun laws do they work

that really doesn't answer my question though. A hunting rifle can be used for long distance practice, yes? So back to what I really want to know, why does any civvy need a an assault rifle?

    Gun laws do they work

I dont think anyone is saying that guns should be banned out right in the US but the type of guns an individual can own should be an issue IMV. I asked this question earlier, why does a civilian need military grade weapons ie assault rifles? Lets take the "intruder" reasoning, will a handgun...

    How to Delete Subform Record?

Like JHB says, you need to understand the relations between your tables and be 110% sure you want to delete that record before doing it. I delete very few records from any of my access databases. If you are determined to delete a record from the subform you need to bring up the relationships...
