Access was never designed to be or to create enterprise level applications. This is why many users feel frustration about scalability. It's awesome if people recognize It's limitations.
The two main reasons people choose Access are its ease of use and the fact that it’s already installed at their organization. Security isn’t even considered until the IT department says “NO.”
It's all moot, some of the most robust systems on earth get hacked. I'm part of a large class action law suit right now. Keenan & Associates was hacked in 2023. Millions of people effected, potentially billions of dollars on the line. Security is an illusion like insurance.
One of the main issues I see is a rush to the end product, reports filled with flashy animations and eye candy while completely disregarding the foundational skills needed to create these advanced features, such as VBA.
I would support an incentive program. Work, no criminal activity beyond illegal entry, assimilation, = citizenship. I do realize some are not interested in citizenship, just the bennies.
