Nelson Mandela - Activist / Pacifist / Terrorist

I don't suppose there's many americans who claim the right to bear arms is protection in case of a overriding malicious government, but at the same time deride Nelson Mandelas early support of a sabotage campaign against his malicious government. That would be stoopid?!

    Gun laws do they work

How common would it be for an American to either have to show a weapon, or be shown a gun as way of threat? I can only think of one person I know in the uk, who has experience of being robbed at gunpoint. Well he wasn't in the end - he told them to piss off.

    Targeting you own citizens abroad.

Considering who they were and where they were. They are the same targets for US, Aus etc bombing raids anyway. (UK only in Iraq). So even without the further evidence of a UK terror plot. Good riddance. With that additional evidence (which of course I haven't seen) I trust those in power...

    Targeting you own citizens abroad.

Cant say I worry about this one little bit. Have joined a army overseas that kills our aid workers in executions, targets terrorist attacks at the UK. As far as I am concerned - its a war, and they should be taken out without qualm. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-34184856

You seem rather blase about this - depression can be a passing illness. By These figures the US suicide rate is twice that of the UK, and half of them are gun deaths. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_suicide_rate http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/suicide.htm In this country...
