    Thunderbirds Are Go

First known reference in print is from 1381 according to the OED. Some 111 years before Columbus!

Trump decrees "There are only two Genders"

When it comes down to it unless you've had the surgery it's actually all playing 'dress-up'! If you have had the surgery you're still chromosomally still what you ever were.

Trump decrees "There are only two Genders"

Trump is wrong on this - what he means is there are two sexes! There are, and always have been, 3 genders - masculine, feminine and neuter. The word gender refer s to a language construct which has been hijacked to give it a different meaning.

How to make MS Access looks like real Application

Years back when producing output for real, particular circumstances meant I needed Word documents for other usage and I got into the habit. If producing a huge output then reports ARE quicker, but that is seldom my requirement. I use automation which gives me a far finer control over output...

How to make MS Access looks like real Application

I don't, as these days the applications are all just for me and my wife to use so it's not a problem, as the interface opening is merely an inconvenience. And I seldom use reports: I send almost all my printing output to Word documents (personal preference). You don't need a print button on...

    Unknown DB

Good thinking - I shall look on my Win 7/2003 PC to see if I can spot a likely DLL:

Glad you solved your problem - however, I'd put money on the fact that the facility hasn't been removed - just hidden because the developers think it's not needed, but it is harder work to take it out!

    Unknown DB

For those who might be interested if you still have access to ACCESS 2003 you can import the file directly - like a lot of features shed as the product is 'enhanced'!

    Unimaginable Events in California

Our nearest equivalent to this is the insistence building housing on flood plains and then wonder why the houses are regularly flooded!

    Nav Pane Groups

I only ever imagined groups as developer's tool. It was just that they were simplicity itself in 2003 whereas in 2021 the are complex for no obvious reason.

    Nav Pane Groups

The official documentation for Nav Pane Groups is sparse. Can anyone confirm, what appears to be the case, that an object can only be assigned to one custom group?

    Indenting and Spacing Revisited.

Do what you want with personal databases - comment/don't comment. However, if you are even pretending to do things professionally then updating the documentation (comments, journals, release documentation) is something you'd WANT to do as part of the release process!

Solved Hi I want to VBA Code for Currency to Words in Indian format but One Hundred Thousand instead of Lakh

The trouble with this and other solutions in the 'Similar Threads' is that they produce the answer in American not in English. Not, of course, a problem for many(possibly most) but it is in UK. I have a function I amended from one I found, to put the 'ands' in the right places which only works...

    Yet another tragedy

Not just irrational - to quote the OED "phobia n noun an extreme or irrational fear of something. " My phobia about dogs is not irrational but it is extreme - it is the result of being seriously injured as a child by a dog attack! I still suffer from it in my 70s.

    Indenting and Spacing Revisited.

Have been using the Lesynski-Reddick naming conventions since the 1990s and would recommend them to users - as Doc mans says - if it works! Lesynski-Redick naming convention.

acCmdSpelling doesn't move out of field when spell check is done

Must admit I have used the Word spell-checker for years similar to the suggested use of Excel above. Works well.

    Postal service

Very rose tinted view of the Railways pre-privatisation - to everyday users they appeared to be run by the unions for the benefit of the unions. Service was abysmal, customer care something you looked up in a dictionary, punctuality non-existent and when closures happened there was no such...

    No Cheer Here

And even then wreaths are only Christmassy in passing - I associate them with funerals! :)
