    yes correct, i could see CALCULATING...... maybe thats the reason why, right? but how can i eliminate this because its kinda disturbing that it is blinking whenever i search for a record. by the way, my database has calculation involved in other column fields.

    having the same problem with you also. it is like, MS-Access lacks on security side. anyone can edit or change the database if they know something about MS-Access. will keep an eye to this thread for some answers.
