Thank you, Larry for your comments. I created a new form with the same code and experienced no problems. Only THIS form is causing an error. We have been using the same code since before 2010, so your suggestion on how to correct this problem would be appreciated. Barbara

Thank you for your patience, Ken The database should be attached again. We have been using this code since 2010 without any issues, but ONLY in THIS FORM not working properly.. We are trying to ensure there are no errors in this database before upgrading to a current Version. Barbara
