    Transgenders in Olympics

I can post daily non-repeats articles. Just subscribe to #transgender. I know most of you, hate social media, but not everything there is evil. If you see something and doubt about it's reliability, simply Google it. You can judge if it's true or false.

Here's a recent one: The controversial winner of the World’s Strongest Woman competition was stripped of her title Tuesday after organizers claimed the hulking American never told them she was born a man. The winner of the World’s Strongest Woman competition was unexpectedly stripped of her...

    Solved Grid performance in Cad

If it's the case I understand that, because we are actually doing the same. We have even gone several steps further and even the NC programs for parts are managed and transferred to CNC machines via this database, and based on the exported data from these machines, the stocks are built. Even...

    Solved Grid performance in Cad

I'm not as clever as you, and it seems I have some problems understanding it. They want to upload a 3D file and your program find a file that previously has been quoted and is close to uploaded file in shape and size?

    Solved Grid performance in Cad

@BlueSpruce and @RonPaii Just wanted to say, I'd imagined you as a PC guy all this time. Never pictured you guys as a CAD guru and never imagined to meet someone from this side of the world in an Access forum, specially as an Expert. Seems that you've had a vast activity in different fields. (y)

    Solved Grid performance in Cad

I've always wished I had a chance to use a water jet machine like that, but it never came and I'm a few step before being retired. I mostly use Laser and turret punch machines. Here's a Mitsubishi laser, one of the same type we have in our shop floor.

    Solved Grid performance in Cad

I believe RonPii will answer for himself, but in our case, yes. We fabricate the holes. We use Amada Tallet punch machines for this purpose. Here's two video of the same machine in our shop floor if you're interested.

    Solved Grid performance in Cad

It's not inserting a single hole for every hole. Both methods uses a pattern feature. The first method, you create a sketch, in a sketch and add a point, then you create a pattern out of the single point, and ask the software to add holes to the given sketch pattern. The second method (which...

    Solved Grid performance in Cad

I don't know it's a bad news or a good one. Recent versions of SoidwWorks seems to behave the same for both methods. Either they have changed the hole wizard to speed up the rebuilt time, or they have ruined pattern tool to bring it down to the level of hole wizard. There was a very lengthy...

    Solved Grid performance in Cad

Sorry for being dense. But I can't understand what "was inserted using a pattern" means. You mean, instead of having a sketch full of dots and put holes on each point (using hole wizard tool), you add a hole, and then create a pattern out of the hole? If you mean something else, do you have a...

    Solved Grid performance in Cad

To prevent the following thread going off track and possibly highjacked I will ask my question here: https://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/threads/what-pc-hardware-software-to-speed-up-microsoft-access.334909/post-1981149 @RonPaii Can you share the method? And possibly the CAD software...

    Copy Pasting Queries

Yes, I've ended up to this solution, but sometimes I hit ctrl+c out of habit and I should wait a long time or terminate Access from task manager. I simply thought there must be a reason behind this.

    Copy Pasting Queries

I need a new query(query2) to use for a specific situation. I know I have another query (query1), with a very similar structure of what I need. Instead of starting from scratch, I select query1, CTRL+C to copy and then CTRL+V to paste. This ends to having a copy of query1. I change the name of...

Seeking a Moderator for the Moderators

Uncle, I reported your post. I like you and your posts and you've always been one of my favorite members here. But you can't talk to others like this. Specially as a mod. Whatever the reason be. Edit : Edited since the main comment was edited by admins.

@BlueSpruce Let me help you a bit. This is one of those cases: Laurel Hubbard's Athletic Career Highlights Pre-Transition: Hubbard competed in men's weightlifting events at a junior level in her 20s, setting national records in the men's category. She stopped competing for 15 years while...

Sports use different competition formats because the physical factors that decide the outcome are different in each sport. Weight classes are used only where body weight strongly affects performance or creates safety risks. Sports without weight classes are generally those where skill, speed...

    Transgenders in Olympics

I'm sorry but It think I have some problem understanding your point. You mean because some biological female start body building to win, or have bigger body than a normal female, it's fine to allow trans female (men at birth) take part in female sports and dominate them too...

    Transgenders in Olympics

Here's my take: Trans women (male at birth) who went through male puberty are likely not going to be eligible for female category in many sports, especially at elite level, under forthcoming IOC/federation rules. Because their body belongs to the stronger gender. Trans men (female at birth)...
