    Tables, Queries or Forms

Several things are in my favour (and this is my last post on the subject of; benefits or non for implementing organizational change). 1) My boss is an autocrat 2) My job is to change the HSE culture with the implementation of a system 3) I have complete autonomy in the development of a...

    Tables, Queries or Forms

There are many things that are not Proceduralized here, i.e; written down, and, have just been handed on verbally from employee to employee. And, you are right, there are a lot of pre-established written procedures. What does not exist is a complete list of tasks on site and the associated...

Ok Sean. What I want is this: Look up employee. Say it's a galvanizing dept employee. Have they had module Galv01? What modules have they had, I want to record that against the employee - do I need some sort of tick box?? Also, however, I want to be able to record procedures for...

    Tables, Queries or Forms

Just one more thing So, the junction table would be where I pulled the query from, if, say, I wanted to see what training Joe Bloggs had had? Or, if I wanted to see who had been trained on the Setting Procedures for Die # 105698 in Press No1? Regards D

    Report, Query, Multiple Value Fields

My report (query based) produces several copies. A couple of the fields the query looks up are multiple value fields (look up fields too). So, the more values you chose in that field, the more copies of the report is produced. How can I stop this from happening??

    Query Parameters

Yes. There are two look up fields in the table. However, the parameter query is not run on one of these.

    Query Parameters

I have a query built on a table (really!). No seriously, Project Tracking is the query on which the report is built. I want to have the report based on project name. So, I have the field - Project. And, the parameter is [Enter Project Name]. It won't return any results. Yet, if I...

    Form not showing all records

My form, which is linked to my employee's table wont show all the records. I know this is a basic thing. I've checked that it's not set to data entry in properties. I don't know what else to do. the record source maybe? However, It was a tabbed form (cause it contains quite a lot of...

    MS Access 2007

Thank you Paul. So, following on from that, Ideally, It would be really cool to be able to: Open Investigation Register from Accident Register, having that function create a new record automatically linked - what I mean is: I've opened a new accident. It is record 115(access assigned ID)...

    MS Access 2007

I have used Access to build our Health and Safety system data base. (I'm reasonably new to access BTW. All my data is in tables. All my reports are based on queries. I have three forms. Accident Register (linked to a table), Investigation Register (also with it's own table) and Hazard...

    Single Record Report

I'm not sure whether to set up a report with the fields I want or to hve the record selected on a form. The other thing is that there are more than one code loaded against an employee - the codes equal task descriptions and there may be 8 or nine of them. Perhaps a report that gives me...
