    Bank Statemant

Yes, I agree with your clarification (above) and understand your predicament with only weeks left. I was commenting against your assertion that it couldn't be done because it's a double-entry accounting system.

Actually, it does work and if you want to show the figures as debit and credits (even though one amount field in the table) in various forms/reports that can be done as well.

    Hello Access World!

Welcome. It certainly has changed, visually over the years. Can't say I'm a big fan of the visuals, but, hey, it is what it is and still does a good job of nearly everything.

Error Copying Field Data use =Sum([])

What are you trying to achieve? I think you have misinterpreted the use and purpose of the three queries I provided. You haven't altered the form to suit those queries and incorrectly added three fields (that correspond to the three queries I provided) to your table. You already have two...

I can't explain that, but I removed the recordsource and the tabs are still displayed and working.

    Weather forecast VBA

Just to add my little bit, all your server paths are hardcoded, so nobody is going to straight out of the box run the db and have the single day forecast work correctly as you suggest it does. This could put some off from further looking into things. I'm not an XML person so I'm taking this...

Dynamic setting RecordSource not display on the subform

I've only looked at this parent/subform form from the point of view of the 'summary' subform. Haven't looked at the other subforms. I'm curious as to why in the main form there needs to be a recordsource. It might as well be a straight out unbound main form controlling the subforms. I...

Dynamic setting RecordSource not display on the subform

Believe me, I was doing what you were probably doing, setting debug.print all over the place, pasting in the sql directly into a new query (and it worked). I was also pulling my hair out. I came across that setting, changed it, and records appeared. I didn't test any further. Without...

Check out the setting, "Filter On Empty Master", yours is currently set to Yes, change it to No, then the records are displayed.

Make sure the Form properties window is open, select the Label control of concern, then select Event tab on the Form Property Window, you should see 5 events there, one of them being OnClick.

Adding items to general context menu (not on a form!)

I've copied a snippet from a right-click menu (rcm) that I use in one of my apps, as follows: Set cmbOpenForm = cmbRC.Controls.Add(msoControlButton) cmbOpenForm.BeginGroup = True cmbOpenForm.Caption = "Clear Filter (show all records)" cmbOpenForm.OnAction =...

Error Copying Field Data use =Sum([])

There is always more than one way to skin a cat. To answer your question, here is one way. I created three queries, each one builds upon the preceding one. Query 1: (qryZ_01_CalculateLineTotals) SELECT Investments_Purchases_SalesT.Symbol_Stock...
