Complaining about the too loud sound in a bar for a football game: Is there some reason why people have to hear what they just saw.

    Best ever movie

Dr. Strangelove was a delightfully inspired piece of statire. One of the best Hollywood ever produced. Although it does stand on its own, to truly appreciate it you have to see the "serious" version of the same scenario. That film is "Fail Safe". --------------------------------------- You...

    Best ever movie

I'm certain there are words that are bleeped out on US TV and not on British TV and vice versa. They are 2 different countries with different values. As to the presence of the word, you would have to discuss that with the writer, director and producer.

Of course it's your word. You choose to use it. There are any number of other words you could use but you use this defamitory, ignorant and "loaded" word. You are not the BBC or the The Times. You can't get away with it by claiming it's a quote. I for one am "shunning" you from this point on...

    merge fields?

In your query create a new field giving it a descriptive name, then do the code to merge the cells. Example: Descriptivename:([field1]&" "&[field2]) For some reason a purple smilie comes up, it should be a colon.

    Best ever movie

My brother loves "The Party", thinks its the greatest film ever made. Finally tracked down a VHS tape of the film for him. He never watches it. Seems part of the mystique of the film is waiting for its few airings on TV. OH, to grasp the inner workings of a cult classic.

How many cops does it take to change a light bulb? None, cops aren't afraid of the dark How many therapists does it take to change a light bulb? Only one, but it's really got to want to change. How many computer programmers does it take to change a light bulb? None, its a hardware problem...

    Dealing with Returns

I was going to make a comment but I realized Bob had said exactly what I was going to say. If a substantial percentage of returns are going back into inventory you need to have a procedure that allows for this. 26 of Item A returned to inventory, refund or credit customer. If the returns are...

    Check-in/Check-out problem and afterupdate problem

Your first problem: The way I would normally approach this problem is: When you check out a tool a new record whould be created. When you check the tool back in, you should be EDITING or updating the existing record. Check your form and subform(s) and make sure you don't have the Data Entry set...

But if God is all powerful couldn't he have been a chimp, a gorilla, a monkey and a man all at the same time? God is obviously not all KNOWING or he wouldn't have given Rich an opening for an anti American jibe. :D

    security problem. PLEASE HELP

I have no idea if this will work or not as I'm not up on security myself but it should only take a few minutes to find out. Create a new blank database. See if it will allow you to import the tables, forms queries etc. from your secured database.
