    John, this worked, however, without checking any of the boxes, I have "high risk" showing in my text box. Also, as I check the boxes, I don't have a running total until i check a majority or all the check boxes...

    Ok, I am completely new at working with Access and trying to figure a few things out. I have (7) seven different check boxes. I would like to be able to only check (1) one of the (7) seven at time and make the other (6) six boxes inactive (greyed out). Is this possible? Jason
