    Different Critera to Open Report

Hello, I have always been fine taking existing code and adapting it, but not at writing my own from scratch :( I have a report (rpt_MSR_Detail_byAdvisor) that I want to open from a form (called ReportCentral) and on that form I have 2 combo boxes (DistrictPicker & AdvisorPicker). I would like...

    Before Form Loads...(OnLoad)

Dave, After re-reading your post and digesting it completely, I now get the bigger picture...thank you, thank you. I really don't give error handling too much consideration, but this is something to consider and implement.

    Before Form Loads...(OnLoad)

I got it working by using "OnLoad" on the other form which in the end may be the better way to do it??? But the cancel is originally what I was looking for (and will put away in my toolbox :)), I just didn't know how to go about it. Thanks guys!!!!!

    Before Form Loads...(OnLoad)

That is a hidden form that contains the users profile so I can direct them to where I want them to go. But might be able to use that, I'll give it a go.

    Before Form Loads...(OnLoad)

There is no form that opens this one. This form loads as the startup form (through autoexec actually).

    Before Form Loads...(OnLoad)

As my main form loads (onload), I would like it to check for users (have that solved) and if thee user is #1 level keep loading the current form (frmMSEntry). If the user lever is anything else but #1, I want it to load another form (frmReportCentral) using VBA. I have it for the most part and...

    Append Through a Query?

Thanks guys! I was thinking I could go into the SQL and just change the table reference to the query of my choice, you just confirmed it. Thanks!

    Append Through a Query?

When I combine my to two tables in a query, it appears to be updateable. It's just that in the QBE where you choose your query type and it ask you to choose an append table, the choice is only a table and doesn't offer queries?

    Open Form to Specific Record

Wierd, I didn't realize that the VBA was a "filter", but tried to "remove filter" on the record while I was in it and it didn't do anything. Anyhow, what yo say makes sence and I will give it a go soon and get back to you. Thank you very much for your help!

    Open Form to Specific Record

Hello, The code below opens "frmMSREntry" to a matching "MSRID" field from "frmsearchcentral" and closes "frmsearchcentral". Seems simple enough, but once I'm in the desired MSRID and want to move to the next record I get an error saying I can not move to the specified record. So I am stuck in...
