    Back Online after 3 years

Don't take this incorrectly please... If I come to your site looking for web services and I see: 1. You are using a canned site 2. No PHP 3. No CSS 4. No MySQL I am going to question the quality of your services. To me your site should be a showcase for your skills and assure me that you can...

That's just too cool! I was playing around to get the cell reference... =CELL("address",INDEX(B:B,MATCH(9.99999999999E+307,B:B),1)) and it returns the cell reference with no problem. This one has me stumped a bit. I understand the index and match, I just don't get the 9.999... part. Can you...

So I do understand how sumproduct works... =sumproduct((date a1:a52<=now())*(?)) ?= not sure how to just...

I have two columns: "Date" and "Appts Next Week". All the dates are filled in (the dates are the Friday of every week for the year). The data entry person finds the current date and puts in the appts as requested. I want to capture the # of appts that were last entered on a summary report. So if...

    Fill Empty Cells Between Entries...

Thanks for the feedback. I don't think that will work too well as I am using a webquery and the data gets refreshed (including the formulas if they are in the range). So I am using a column outside the range to pick this up.

    Fill Empty Cells Between Entries...

In column "A" I have text "North Bay" then there will be empty cells for maybe six or seven rows down and then it will have "South Bay". Basically I would like to fill the empty cells with the cell value above until a new cell value is found so it will look like: North Bay North Bay North Bay...

It sounds like a job for something besides HTML. Many options...ASP, PHP... This request is a request to make your website "dynamic" and that is what ASP, PHP... do. Not that hard to learn, but you have to learn. There are programs like Dreamweaver and Front page to insulate you from learning...

    Negative Sales Goals

Sounds weird huh? I have a salesman that has a negative "Net Flow" goal (sales goal). Others have positive goals. His YTD Net Flows (Sales) is say...$1062 (million) and his goal is "-266 million" Of course he is doing quite well, when I use the following code to get a % to goal I get "0"...

    Counting departments

Or another way to do it is have a list of all the possible directorates and then you can put this to the right of it... =sumproduct(--(a1:a10=f1)) (f1 being the first directorate of the directorates list you made). I just learned about this and it is very powerfull because you can do things...
