the solution The thing is that the solution is DO NOT use the pivot table. What I used is MS Excel to display information and MS Query to create a query. By selection in MS Excel option: Data Range Properties you can set Refresh Data On File Open. That’s it.

Guys, in one of my report I’m using imported Excel worksheet with query in it, every time I try to refresh it I get following bloody message: The database has been placed in a state by user "Admin" on machine "blah-blah" that prevents it from being opened or locked. Any ideas???
