Well i would say that its almost deffinately that the record has been deleted somehow along the way... access is not the most secure of databases. Access doesnt just forget records unless you didnt save it ;)

indeed their is you can do both import or a link table. Once you've imported the data I would then create a VBA script to count the amount of sessions a child has attended and then in turn times the by the cost. This can then be put into a report etc... Its very possible & not too difficult...
