Must be a simple answer for 1 penny off

I have related forms, Hdr and detail. The details total of extended and tax roll up and post to hdr fields named "totaloflines" (58.50) and "totaloftax" (2.93). That should make a grant total of 61.43. However, on the hdr I have a field name sliptotal and the control source is...

Record should not be on the Report

Not sure why, but it is the negative field comparison which is throwing this off.

Record should not be on the Report

The numbers have been rounded before but the fields in the base table are all defined and populated with INSERT INTO - as double , currency and 0 decimals, except for hours which is fixed and 2 decimals?

Record should not be on the Report

I used just the < and the material amount is EQUAL even though negative in both fields ??

Record should not be on the Report

I have a report which ONLY shows records where the Estimated amount is LESS THAN the corresponding ACTUAL amount, on ANY 1 of the 4 comparable fields. I have the record below appearing on the report and I cannot figure out why? esthours EstHoursTotal EstMatlTotal estjobTotal 1175.42 52894...

    Customer/Job/Rates Design

I missed what U said. You meant that the Rate table should NOT be tied to the Job table, right?

    Either way, it would be.

    Customer/Job/Rates Design

System is evolving! Right now, there is no Job # or job table. Just a simple customer table tied to a rate table which has an effective and discontinued date for the rates (may be multiple start/end combinations which skip no calendar dates) used to apply toward billings - by work accomplished...

Thank you. I never thought of that rate code, but that sounds like the best Design! I will revisit that!

    More than 1 linked form

What's the cleanest way to do this: I have a customer master which has a 1 to many relationship with 2 different rate tables. Customer = Jones, and a few other master fields such as addr., etc. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Rate1 Table looks like this...
