I did not realise the impact with my last reply. The operation is tied to the piece. There are multiple operations to a piece. The rev can be tied to the piece and operation. The revision level is already related to the part number and serial number.

Your assumption is correct. The data needs to be tied to the PartNo, PartRev, SerialNo and JobNo. This creates traceability. I have to admit, I may have goofed on this. I ended up with "tblParts" and "tblParts_1" in Relationships. I deleted tblParts_1 but now I am more unsure of the end...
