    Exporting Query to Excel/Transposing Spreadsheet

Sorry for bringing back an old thread, I got pulled into other work and didn't revisit this until today. This took care of exactly what I needed. The only problem was that the comment fields were actually Memo/Long Text, and I kept getting errors using the Max function. For any future readers...

    Exporting Query to Excel/Transposing Spreadsheet

Thanks for your quick reply. This looks similar to what I want, but I don't see how to just keep the values. The pivot table options keep displaying aggregate function values in the table (sum, count, etc). I don't want to display any counts or sums, just the values themselves.

    Exporting Query to Excel/Transposing Spreadsheet

Hello everyone, I'm wondering if someone could give advice on a problem I'm having, to see if I'm going completely in the wrong direction before I start with this. I have a query that runs in Access that I would like to export to Excel. My exporting code works fine, but I would like to change...

Using Check Boxes to Select Records for Exporting

I know it's been a while, but I wanted to come back and say thank you, because I basically used your two replies to complete this. It was surprisingly non-trivial, but it was way less horrible than I expected. It still could present a challenge, since I do not know what version of the...

Using Check Boxes to Select Records for Exporting

I'm also running into trouble with enabling the proper references/libraries that are used in that code. For some reason, I keep getting a "User-defined type not defined" error, even though I have the ActiveX objects reference checked. The code will eventually be deployed in a classified...

Using Check Boxes to Select Records for Exporting

Thanks for the quick reply. This link looks like what I want, but if I'm being completely honest, it is above my current level of understanding of Access. I would need to spend a good amount of time reviewing this code and modifying it for my database, which would take a while. Specifically...

Using Check Boxes to Select Records for Exporting

Hello everyone! I've got a question that is much harder than I anticipated. I was thinking this would be very easy, but I have been mistaken so far. Hopefully it's something obvious that I'm overthinking! I'm happy to provide many more details as necessary, but I'll try to keep it brief for the...

VBA - Exporting to Excel - Error Handling

......not sure why I didn't figure that out  I agree 100%, and I've deleted that line from my code. Thanks for helping again, and being lightning fast on the replies again! :D For me personally, my issue is taken care of now, so I've marked the thread as solved. Frothingslosh, if you...

VBA - Exporting to Excel - Error Handling

Thank you for sending me this. This was 100 times easier than I was expecting. I'm not quite sure why I anticipated this On Error stuff being so difficult. This has taken care of the issue perfectly. The cancel button error was even coded for me already in that example. :D For the second error...

VBA - Exporting to Excel - Error Handling

Got a quick question about error handling in VBA, specifically pertaining to a module that exports results from Access queries, into an Excel file. My current module is working fine for the most part, but during negative testing, I've found a few specific places where the customer would receive...
