    Oh dear! E-mail AGAIN!

Ah! :) THAT sounds like the way to do it! Thanks. I have to learn some stuff about Office Aut, as I always prefer to work at the 'code it yourself nitty gritty level' (Poor old DOS body!) But I am now motivated! Thanks lots

    Oh dear! E-mail AGAIN!

Thanks for your time and help But the addresses are in estring fine; the problem is that all the addresses show up in the recipient line of the message so everyone mailed gets everyone else's email address  . Still brooding on it, so if you get any other ideas ... please!! ... Juliet

    Oh dear! E-mail AGAIN!

I have searched forums, and MSoft support dbase ... no joy on this one I have working code that constructs a "mailto" string that looks like (e.g.) #Mailto:julietbrown@thing.com,fredbloggs@otherthing.com# (this can be any length ... user picks addresses from a list box and code builds the...

    Trapping "no current record"

Thanks, and thoughts Yes, the form is bound to a query. Actually, on my way to work I suddenly thought I may be able to get round this by requerying the form immediately after the Delete record op. But I'm interested in 'recordset status': I think I've looked at this (several times) in my quest...

    'Page' problem

I can't make the 'page' facility work in Access 2000 at all. Whenever I try to create a new page, or save even a diddy report as a page, I get 'page corrupted, you'll have to rebuild it' (which it won't let me!) and a message saying I need MS Web Tools. MS site tells me I've got them built...

    Trapping "no current record"

I know how to do this IF the reason there's no current rec is because I am at EOF or BOF, but the problem is if a record has just been DELETED. The recordset clone isn't "empty" and we are not at the end of it, but if you refer to the record code crashes. The currentRecord...

More Probs with Dates and Times

Thanks - and Thanks to person who first replied ... "n" works, and I would never have guessed it in a million years. I don't suppose you know any more neat tricks, like how to get the hours/mins/secs that have elapsed between two dates, without writing loads of code (which is "fun" but takes...

More Probs with Dates and Times

Access Help + Books don't give full spec of the DatePart function. I've got as far as getting out the day, the month, the year, the hours, and the seconds, but I can't get out the MINUTES. I've tried to guess the relevant parameter, but of course it thinks "m" is month, and it won't accept any...

    Dates and Times

Thanks to those who solved this. (I did consult Help first, but with no success ... I am using Access in Office 97, so maybe help is more helpful in later versions!) Having horrid problems. You can use DatePart() to get the date part of a DateTime field, but HOW do you get the "TimePart" out...
