    Add/Remove records from a list

Thanks Adrianna. That is exactly what I was looking for. I made one change. I added a yes/no field to the forms table and the forms group table. Using these "Flags", I am able to avoid the scratchpad table. I have found it helpfull to have one or two "Flags" in all my tables. Thanks again...

    Add/Remove records from a list

(Been a while since I had a question.) I have a table that stores a list of paper forms. the fields are ID#, display name, doccument name, and a code to determine if its a Word or Excel doccument, or an access report. Works fine; the user can click a form name (on the Forms/Reports tab on the...

    2002 Startup

Thanks for the tip and the education RuralGuy. There is no ambiguity issue and viewing the code in my computer, I found no missing references. It will be tomorrow before I can look at it in the lap top.

    2002 Startup

This application uses ADODB. At the risk of appearing even more confused, I do not know what disambiguate means. It sounds like I need to know though. Any idea what reference I could be missing? Thanks.

    2002 Startup

I have a database (split) I developed using Access 2000 (Office Professional). I installed it in a lap top that has Office Prosessional 2002 and am encountering several problems: 1) The shift-key bypass does not work; 2) My application uses an access wizzard switchboard. With the lap top, when...

    Where did HELP go?

This has to be a dumb question. My visual basic help seems to be gone. I get the help dialog box but if I look for a specific topic, I get nothing. Example: I can enter "Openrecordset" in the search index window. It appears to search for the method, etc - but, if i click on it there is...

    Update Function

mkelly, check the attached sample1a. I threw out the function and created a subquery (summary type). In the format event for employee name, I set text97 to a dlookup result from the subquery. If the looked up value needs additional formating or calculations, set a variable equal to the lookup...

    Update Function

What is "dup -1 <= 0" supposed to accomplish? If its just a typo, try this. I don't see any reference to something named "dup". Function dup1() If ([Report_Operator production report]![Work Type] = "Dup-1") Then dup1 = Int(Sum([job completed time] - [job start time] - CDate("0:0:" &...

Combo box info not staying on form

I looked at your db. The 3 cbos on your form were not bound to their respective fields. They are now (see attached). Observations/hints: I would not use spaces, special characters, or punctuation in the name of any object (tables, forms, queries, controls, etc). I would suggest you add an ID...
