    Can you function without coffee?

Hmmmm....I dislike both coffee and tea equally so I'm not sure which is the lesser of two evils. :p At least tea doesn't seem to have the cult following that coffee does. However, I'm sure if tea produced the sort of dependency that coffee does then perhaps it would.

    Can you function without coffee?

Our company is in the process of constructing a new corporate office and we will make the move in a couple weeks. Pictures of the development have been posted on our intranet and I find it kind of humurous to see that instead of the 2 little coffee makers we currently have the new office has 4...

    Mmporg

Look at this thread from a couple months ago. http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=98945 I'm still playing the game and having fun. I do get a little burned out from playing a character for too long so I jump around from time to time between my warrior, monk and...

    My trip and the NHL

Actually, I think we've had this discussion on a different thread before. We definetly have differing opinions on soccer or football (English-style), but if I recall we both loathe NASCAR. If I'm recalling that correctly then agreeing on 1 out of 2 aint too bad then. ;)

    My trip and the NHL

Yeah, I remember that. That was aweful. Yeah, the fighting has always been pretty cool except for Bertuzzi-like cheap shots like you said. It's funny how fighting is generally excepted in hockey, yet when it comes to basketball (or most any other sports for that matter) fighting is not...

    Has anyone ever relocated?

I have not, but if I were ever to lose my job there is not much if anything in my home area for the profession that I'm in. If I were to stick with my current profession then I'd have to relocate. I'd really hate to move out west just because of the nightmares I hear about the cost of living...

    My trip and the NHL

While I'm a huge basketball fan and enjoy that moreso than any other sport I may have to agree that hockey is the best sport to see "live". Seeing the hockey action live is so much more exhilarating than basketball or football I think. It also doesn't help when you get lousy seats to games...

    My trip and the NHL

Glad you had fun. My city just has a small UHL team, but I've always thought the games were really fun to go to. I never really got into watching hockey on television, but I do like going to see the game. An old high school girlfriend of mine was a hockey nut and had seats right behind the...

    Oh Rocky!

This movie was a bit before my time. When I was probably 20 I sat down to watch the DVD of it with my parents. None of us really knew anything about it and we got about 20-30 minutes through the movie before turning it off. I didn't understand what the deal was with the movie and I thought it...

    Exercise and Dieting

Ya...I also forgot to mention that both of us have cut out a lot of our pop(soda) intake as well. I'm not saying I won't ever eat fast food again, but I don't think I'll go back to eating it like I was.

    Exercise and Dieting

Well, its been 1 full month now that my wife and I have been routinely exercising and dieting and so far so good. While I do not know what her beginning weight was I believe she has lost about 15 pounds in the last month and I have lost about 6 pounds. My goal really isn't to lose weight so...

    Dress codes

I had an ex-girlfriend with precisely that same attitude and when I was dating her at age 20 some people thought she was only 16 and I remember a couple people even thinking 14.

    Dress codes

Makes you wonder how many "brown" folks spend their time trying to turn "white"......Oh wait, nevermind. Michael Jackson has already tried that and we all know how that's turned out.

    Dress codes

Sorry, can't do that. Just imagine an attractive slim blonde woman with nice...ummm...upper form and low cut shirts. I'll let your imagination do the rest. ;)

    Dress codes

I guess our company has a standard business casual with Friday's being a "dress down" day where we can where jeans and T-shirts if we choose. However, there are some people and areas within the office where some people really seem to challenge the dress code....and get away with it. :rolleyes...

    Did I make this up?

Well I can't speak for others, but I find farts really funny. Maybe this sounds sad, but I am 32 years old and I still find it absolutely hilarious when I'm in a public restroom and I hear some poor soul in one of the stalls grunting and straining for dear life in order to....well, you know...

The Cooler vs. The Age-Old Riddle

The chicken of course. How can you have an offspring without the parent? Unless, there was some sort of immaculate conception of the egg. Hmmmm....now wait a minute. I may have to revise my statement. As disturbingly annoying the "chicken or the egg" scenario is it is in no way as insanely...

    When Your Car Is Scratched!

That stinks. I really do feel your pain because a couple years ago I just bought a new blazer (well it was used, but new to me) and the first night it sat in the driveway it was egged. My front passenger side door has tiny scratches in the shape of a ring where the egg hit. It turned out to...
