    Carl Sagan

I loved the Cosmos series. I had a girlfriend during my senior year in high school who purchased the set and would give me one tape (yes vhs tape...I'm old) for whenever I was "extra" good. Unfortunately after receiving only 3 or 4 tapes I had broken up with her. Even to this day I still...

    Guild Wars

For a while some co-workers were trying to convince we to get World of Warcraft and while it did sound like a lot of fun, I couldn't come to grips with forking over $50 for the game, ~$80 for a video card upgrade and then shelling out $15/month just to play the damn thing. About 6 weeks ago...

    Useless Facts

I found this rather interesting, yet completely useless unless I become a contestant on jeopardy or something. "At a glance, the Celsius scale makes more sense than the Fahrenheit scale for temperature measuring. But its creator, Anders Celsius, was an oddball scientist. When he first developed...

    Christmas

If that happened here in America, they'd probably rename them to "Freedom Lights" or something all retardedly patriotic like that. Christmas Dinner [Son] mmm ma, please pass me the patriot peas and the army green bean casserole [Mom] sure thing my little trooper [Dad] boy-o-boy these memorial...

    Diseases?

Sorry to hear your condition. I hope the best for you. Just curious, but what age do you typically start getting physicals and testing for stuff like that? I'm 32 now and have wondered from time to time about when I should start getting these things.

    What's your best/worst joke?

Ok, if we're talking about bad jokes then how about these. Q: What do you say to a woman with 2 black eyes? A: Nothing, you are ready told her twice. Q: Why do women have small feet? A: So they can stand closer to the kitchen sink.

    What's your best/worst joke?

My wife's grandmother says warsh and squarsh. Drives me nuts. That is mainly an Indiana thing I think, but at least I can say that I belive the vast majority of us Hoosiers pronounce it as wash. I think warsh is mostly a throwback from the old days and is being said less and less these days.

    What phone(s) do you have?

Just got my wife a Motorola Razr V3. It's really cool, but since it is so thin it is wider than typical phones. It's really sharp though. My phone only plays polyphonic ringtones and hers plays True tones so that's awesome. I think the battery life on it may be its major drawback.

Cannot copy all data from a query to a table

I think you're right. I believe it has something to do with data types for the AndrewTemplate table, but I haven't quite narrowed it down yet. Thanks.

Cannot copy all data from a query to a table

I'm using Access 2003 and winXP. I built a database a long time ago and it worked fine, but some things have changed in the data and required output so I need to tweak some of the program. The following code ran fine before and copied 100% of the data from the query to the table, but now it is...

    On a more positive note...

Define "good enough". God knows how many people still watch crap like Survivor and Fear Factor. However, I personally equate those types of shows with about the same level of quality as a 3 week old brick of spam that a 3 pack a day smoker uses to put their butts out on.

    On a more positive note...

Those angry anti-Christmas Brits choose to view Christmas as a paganistic commercially driven and celebrated holiday. They seem to ignore that there are still a good deal of people out there that still celebrate it for its Christian meaning. But then again I would expect much different from...

Unfortunately I think I'm guilty of this a bit. I would venture to say the computer is the next generation idiot box. Combine my television and computer usage and its frightening. I'm surprised I get anything done when I'm at home. :o

    Ringtones

Have you ever just sat there and listened to many cell phone's ringtones people have? With the exception of ringtones that are clips from well-known songs, why is it that most of them sound like they came straight off the soundtrack from some porn movie?  Or is it just me...
