Multi Table Query with Look up...

Well I jumped ahead of myself... the report is NOT working the way I thought it was... not at all... Ugh... It is pulling all the information from the query, however it is displaying the different Airline tickets on multiple pages - and displaying the blank fields. I'll worry about the...

Multi Table Query with Look up...

I think I figured the report out too. Because the query is searching for a parameter, it automatically asks for the request ID when I make it into a report. Now I just need to make the report legible... and I might finally be done with this database's set up... thank you for all your help!!!

Multi Table Query with Look up...

Our web security here is pretty low, however our access to different sections of our drives is very limited. If I wasn't working on this database behind our IT department's back I would of asked them to allow me access to upload it... however since they swear off Access, I am having to do...

Multi Table Query with Look up...

Here are some pictures of the database. http://s823.photobucket.com/albums/zz154/BlueChickenACCESS/ <-- All of them were too big to attach to this message so I used photobucket... hope that is ok? All of my tables are listed. Any names that are the same are linked from the request table...

Multi Table Query with Look up...

When it comes to the request form, the data will sometimes be empty because not everyone requests everything - but when that happens no record is made in the other forms... so they both will be empty or not there at all... Which option would be better? It is the same for all 3 tables.

Multi Table Query with Look up...

The relationships are all one-to-many not one-to-one... and if they are not one-to-many they are indeterminate... not sure what that means. Under Join Type I have 3 options to choose from. I currently have them all set to the default #1. The options are: 1: Only include rows where the...

Multi Table Query with Look up...

So because I have look ups in my tables, the query won't run? They have been working fine for me before in several other queries I have made. ... I hate to say it but most of that went over my head... Could you explain that again please?

Multi Table Query with Look up...

Nothing is returned with the criteria removed either. There are look ups in all three individual tables. The Air Travel form has look ups to an Airline List table, and a city table. The Hotel form has a look up for hotel names, and the rental car table has a look up for rental car size and...

Multi Table Query with Look up...

Hi, I have been making a database to record employee travel - which at first I was trying to make all my information fit into one little form (disaster as pointed out by many). I fixed that and now have many different little forms all linked together and displayed neatly and with a lovely...

Switchboard Manager download or something??? (seriously lost now...)

I'm just full of questions today! Ok, I want to add a switchboard to my database so I can make it more organized and user friendly for all my other coworkers who do not know how to use Access all that well. Using the 'Help' Function in ACCESS itself, I found the step by step instructions...

    Command Button Open Form

I was using google to search for ways to make it work and all of the examples I found used the .show to make the forms work. I do have it working now with the wizard so I am happy with it. Thanks for the notes though!:D:D
