Right well that didn't work! BUT it gave me an idea although this is not the best it kinda does it.... i put your code into the OnGotFocus event of the text box and it works... if fills out automaticaly and you can change it...the only problem being that it doesnt fill out till you click on...

That's where i had it to start with and it doesnt fill out the text box Automatically with the number of days you have to type it in!!! That's why i changed it and put it in the control source. :( What a pain!
