    Print criteria

I have a menu form that users can select one of two criteria to print a report, fields [Area] or [immediate]. The code I have to set the criteria is set out below. The strCriteria = "[Area]=""" & Me![Combo17] & """" works fine but the first part strCriteria = "[immediate]=""" & True & """" is...

    Hide label in Report

Sorry Rabbie mate, not sure what you mean? When I type in the code, .Visible is not recognised?

    Hide label in Report

I am trying to hide a label in a report which is conditional on the results of the value of a text box (=Sum([Field])) calculated when the report is run. The Visible = False/True function does not appear to be available in Reports. Or is it? Failing this is there a way round this?

    Exclude records not matching criteria

Well you little cracker Rabbie. Pity I'm flying down to Portsmouth next week or I would have bought you a pint on way down through Wiltshire. Many thanks mate.

    Exclude records not matching criteria

My mistake there Rabbie. Wrong query included. What you suggested is what I have tried in umpteen combinations. Have a look at the attached and try what you have suggested. Thanks

    Exclude records not matching criteria

I am trying to print a report and exclude from the report records that do not match the results of an expression in a query. I have tried endless combinations and still can not get the report to print the records only matching the criteria. I've attached an extract of the db to best explain...

    Week of year and ISO8601

I remember now where I saw this. http://www.cpearson.com/excel/weeknum.htm The following function needs to be included to determine YearStart Function YearStart(WhichYear As Integer) As Date Dim WeekDay As Integer Dim NewYear As Date NewYear = DateSerial(WhichYear, 1, 1) WeekDay =...

    Week of year and ISO8601

Well Daveyk01, you missed a darn good film there mate. Over 2 hours of mindless blow-em-up, gung ho stuff. My kids (son 25 and daughter 28) took me ( although I had to pay a total of £7.50, about $3.70 for the three of us). A bargain. Thanks again for the code.

    Week of year and ISO8601

I may have got that wrong Rabbie but the code never brings up week 52. I've tried it backwards and forwards on no week 52s?

    Week of year and ISO8601

Thanks Daveyk01. This is something like the code I knew I had seen on the forum somewhere. Will test after the film. Thanks again.

    Week of year and ISO8601

Ah. Not quite correct Rabbie. Does not take into account that some days are at the beginning of the current year are in week 52 or 53 of previous year and the effect of a leap year. It's a good start though. Thanks again.

What can I say! Thanks Rabbie. I can now cheerfully go off to the local cinema to watch "Transformers, robots in disguise" with a smile on my face. ;)
