I am NOT using a Report inside a form. It just looks like that! It is a subform. I don't have issues with referring to a subform but this is out of my expertise. I did resolve my code issue but still no explanation about this. Thanks,

    Are you religious/spiritual?

Philosophical Discussions rarely bring about any true merit since not everyone has an open mind and heart. Fruition is possible, however unlikely. Kind of a spin-off of "Are You an Atheist" Answer: Yes I am a spiritual/religious person. Why? Opens up another can of worms!

    Generate a unique reference number

Different ways of doing this as has been said and advised. Also as asked, do you have set rules for the syntax? Example: ControlSource=[InvNo] & "-" & [ReferenceID] & "000" Personally I use a Module with a table for my unique generated numbers. HTH

    Question MS Access 2007 Dates

I generally use a Main form for this with date fields that can be edited. Then refer to those fields in your query. Or you could use a popup form and do the same thing. You can format the date fields as needed. HTH

    What's your best/worst joke?

Two women friends had gone out for a Girls Night Out, and had been decidedly over-enthusiastic on the cocktails. Incredibly drunk and walking home they suddenly realized they both needed to pee.
