How to link informations from the Forms onto a text matter

What it boils down to is you creating a document template in Word with text fields where you want to insert your data. Then on your Access form, you have a button that opens that doc and inserts the data. That's the quick and dirty, but like I said if you Google "super easy word merge," you...

    Insert query please help

When you are looking at your form in design view, one of the options on your toolbar should be for a subform. Select it and draw on your form where you would like it to appear. Then a handy wizard will walk you through the steps of picking the table or query you want to get the subform's data...

    Insert query please help

Without looking at your db, it sounds like you have some normalization issues. Orders should be in a separate table with a foreign key to the person who ordered it. You can have a subform to display the person's orders on your main person form to more easily read the data.

Lookup query with table value as criteria

You really shouldn't be using lookups in a table. It sounds like you could get the results you are looking for by using a combo box on a form to choose the criteria which could then be displayed in a list box.

    Table Writes to another Table

I didn't attempt to open your db, but are you doing this through a form? A form would make it a lot easier to do this as you could put the code to run your append query in the After Update event (or where ever you want it) of the checkbox on the form.

Exporting to Word and Remote Server Unavailable Error

I think I finally figured it out. I changed these lines: objWord.ActiveWindow.Activate Selection.GoTo What:=wdGoToBookmark, Name:="Narrative" to this: objWord.ActiveWindow.Selection.GoTo What:=wdGoToBookmark, Name:="Narrative" And now I'm not getting the "Remote Server" error.

Exporting to Word and Remote Server Unavailable Error

Okay, it is this line that is giving me trouble. Selection.GoTo What:=wdGoToBookmark, Name:="Narrative" If I change it to: objWord.Selection.GoTo What:=wdGoToBookmark, Name:="Narrative" I get an error saying this object does not support that property. I am not running this on a network; I...

I looked at a couple of threads here on this topic and tried some suggestions, but was unable to fix my problem. I am exporting some data to a Word template so that users can then write an incident report (its for our security dept). Everything seems to work fine except that I keep getting the...

Opening a report from a list box

I have a list box that displays the names of reports that can be printed. The list box is populated from a table with three columns - an autonumber, the name of the report, and a description. I hide the first two, displaying the third. I want the user to be able to double-click the report they...
