    Tracking Correspondence

Thank you for answering! Sorry about the ambiguity. The correspondence consist of reports. They are part of a database that I am currently building. These reports will be printed and mailed, again and again, with some content variation. For example, the Rent Increase Report. A form is...

    Tracking Correspondence

Hi! Hope someone can assist :) I have several reports which are sent to members residing at a specified Unit in a Coop. I would like to track - automatically vs manually (going into each record), which reports (letters...) have been sent (mailed) to unit 1, unit 2, unit 3... with the date...

    Code adjust /Outlook Email / Access 2010

Thank you Gina - you are a gem! Can you - again - refresh my memory and tell me how to insert this link in the record source? How is it written? Does it go in the query or in the report's properties?

    Code adjust /Outlook Email / Access 2010

Hi, I would like to update this coding so that the Outlook email window opens directly, with the document attached, and allows me to write a message and click Send... I also do not need to preview or view this document before it is included in the email. --- Please note that the following...

    Query a birthdate

Ok, made it work this way - thanks to you - had no idea how to code... May not be the best way but it works. DayNo: DatePart("d",[BirthDate]) with Criteria set to: DatePart("d",Now()) MonthNo: DatePart("m",[BirthDate]) with Criteria set to: DatePart("m",Now()) What do you think?

It is returning Data Type Mismatch in criteria expression. Awww it is so close... do I need to define the day and month?

    Copying content of previous field

I don't know how to insert a "breaking point" but I have check and double checked - the code is in the right field, in the AfterUpdate event in the Properties. Sorry it took so long to reply but looked up how to put a breaking point... tried a few things but nothing worked.

    Copying content of previous field

Same, tried that also, nothing. No error but no text "copied" either. Weird, no?

    Copying content of previous field

It does not return an error but does not work. Simply does nothing - left the record, came back... nothing in that field. Others are there, filled out manually. Mmm??!

    Copying content of previous field

Nothing. This is what I have: Is there not a command for Ctrl apostrophe - where I could put in double click let's say...

    Copying content of previous field

Ok no errors but does nothing... even after I get out of the record, cursor back to my main form and note Ctrl ' does work... just tested in case

    Copying content of previous field

Mmm... I put this coding - as is - in the on click event of the field. Even with a previous record entered and saved, it is returning: Run-time error 13 - type mismatch. Just a text field.

    Copying content of previous field

I will try it and see what it does when there is no previous record entered. But sounds great to me! Thank you (again!)
