Visibly, you didn't open the app. All you had to do is open the form and select a ref: I didn't give much info on steps because for an experienced programmer the case is obvious!!!!! The only thing I am expecting from a beginner is: with MY A2013, it works normally or not. OK. Create 2 tables...

Did you try the form? If you do not have A2013, the combo lists the refs normally, but when you select one entry, the actual path is lost, replace by a hyperlink to the Reference ID number!!! And what needs to be done to reproduce the same problem? Just run the attached app.
