Error 2501 on output to PDF

I'm thinking of trying the Lebans method of outputting to PDF instead of OutputTo but would rather keep everything inside Access rather than external DLLs and 3rd party...

Yes... Entire path is there... I inserted a breakpoint and ran it for both last month and this month and the value of XFILE was correct in both... No permission or disk space errors (I copied DB to local drive to see if anything there)... The file isn't open... Like I said - if I do a Print...

    create letter

What is sounds like is that you have a database which contains values as to what the contents of the letters will be. [line] [Co_num] etc. are all fields in your db. As you can see, when the customer name is Oster you do some special stuff as to the contents of the letter. Can you provide...

Error 2501 on output to PDF

Access 2007. I can run the report for last month and with the VBA code outputting it directly to PDF and it works. When I run it for this month, I get an error 2501. This report has been running for months with no issues. When I run it for this month and preview the output, I can export it...

Calculate date given month and week number in month

I ended up getting it... What I did is calculate the date of the first Sunday of the month and what week it falls in. Then based on that I do DateAdd based on the week difference and adding the individual days of the week.

Calculate date given month and week number in month

I have found multiple ways of calculating the week of a month for a given date. Now, I want to reverse it, i.e. given a month and week and day of week calculate the date. Somewhat stumped here. Note that in week 1 and last week, there will often be days with no value. Thanks.

    Dynamic group header...

I want to create a report where the group header can change based on VBA (similar to what I can do with a page header or report header). What I am looking to do is create a monthly report on each page. The data is daily and I want to have 7 columns going across repeated 4-5 times a month on...

Finally got it... I put a dummy hidden field on the report and set it equal to the staff person's name... Then on the chart row source I added a WHERE that says that staff name (the field in the query) must be equal to the dummy field...

I've made progress but am stuck again... I have a DB with staff, date and 2 values to display... What I want to do in the report is page break on each staff person so it graphs just the date (month) and the 2 values for each staff person... I can get the chart to put the staff person and...

    Charts in Access 2007

First time I've tried creating a chart and obviously I'm missing something... I have a query that lists for a multiple people and months, 2 values... For example: Joe 01/2013 25 45 Joe 02/2013 10 70 Sam 01/2013 37 40 Sam 02/2013 79 23 When I tried using the wizard, it...

Join Query to pull in 1 record based on threshold reached

The thresholds only have one limit, i.e. the point at which it goes into effect so you have one starting at 0, one starting at 6, etc... I could put in an ending threshold and then do a < on one side and a >= on the other... I know a priori that there will not be many records for the max - at...

Join Query to pull in 1 record based on threshold reached

I just got it... I needed to do multiple steps.. The first step was just to do the join and merge the employee and threshold tables such that for each employee I could have 1 or more records... Note - the thresholds were in a way where if they worked 0 hours they received one thing, 6 hours...
