    DLookup() compromises form "Relationship"???

    If you're changing the plate number in Table 2, and plate number is the key in Table 2, then I'd say do a lookup of the plate number in Table 3, not the (customer) ID. Also - if you set up "Enforced Referential Integrity" in the Relationships window, then it should make the changes for you.

    Simple question about showing tables in form

    You can either put both subforms in the same position and when you click a button set one to visible=yes, the other to visible=no or have one subform control and change its Source Object property eg procedure button1_onclick() subform1.SourceObject = "name of subform" subform1.Visible...

    Am I missing Something??

    I had a similar problem with a .NET app I wrote for my (recent) previous employer... I packaged the app & installed it from the MSI. After making some changes to the app, I tried to just overwrite the exe with the new one. Try to run it & it complains about not being installed. So I ended up...

    You don't want the user to have to give a password, & you don't want it stored in the ODBC... maybe I'm not understanding, but where else are you wanting it to get the password from?

    Best? hmm... Pro's: Faster execution, and reduced load on the network. Con's: Harder to maintain (see below). You mean ODBC settings? Yep. Yep.

    Macro to perform importing and report making

    You don't need to recreate the report every time. Just create it once (manually, or using the Wizard), then open it after importing the new roster table. You also don't need to "link" the Employee table to the new roster table. Basically, Access is just looking for a table with a specific name...

    Write game Trainers

    Be careful with non-builtin cheats... apart from danger of malware as mentioned, if you do ever decide to play online, your old cheats (or remains of them) may be detected & get you kicked off. Vanishing text fields...???

    Solved... The comments textbox had Hide Duplicates = Yes so any time there were 2 (or more) consecutive records with the same comments, only the first would show. (Why the hell was this ticked in the first place? I hate maintaining other people's code...) :mad:
