Number of users would be one, at any one time. Any advice how this kind of data needs to be split up?

Is MS Access the right programme to use?

Bit of a dangerous question in this forum, but i plod on... I am looking at trying to put together some form of database for my employment but i have the gut feeling that it may be too large for MS Access to deal with. If i outline the requirements, can the seasoned pro's who frequent this...

    Possible DCount?

Hi again. Just dragged out an old DB that ended up on the bottom of the pile. I need to do a simple count up in a different form of values in "frmFaults", but only for records with a start date within the last 12 months. Eg in "frmFaults" Date_down = 1/2/06 Days_Lost 12...

Would the code have to be on an event update, or on open? Would it also have to be added to each picture?

Pioctures dependant on text box result

Hi, is it possible (at all) to have a small range of images (whatever format is best) on a Form, which only appears dependent on the contents of a Text Box? frmMain_data is the form, and the text box is txtType which holds a range of 1-3. Depending on the result i want an image to appear on...

    DCount Multiple Criteria

Can i hijack onto the end of this? I have tried using the reference material in the post above but not getting any luck. I have the following DCount =DCount("[ISSI]","tblMain_data","Servicability = 3") And i want to have a further condition, where the value in txtType =1 but i seem to be...

    Trouble with DLookUp

That's got it! Excellent. Now the only problem is, on opening the form the txtType is blank until the AfterUpdate event. How can this be displayed all the time, after i have selected a value in the cmbType combobox? Should i have mentioned this first. I probably think so. Sorry.

    Trouble with DLookUp

Interesting. Following Bob's advice the field Type is now Types anyway (which didn't fix it). If i include the Model field in the combobox, can it be hidden from view (don't want to columns in the box)? How would i do an AfterUpdate event for this?

    Trouble with DLookUp

Neither of them appear to be working. The Model field is a numerical value, the Type is Alpha

    Trouble with DLookUp

Hi again. Having a bit of trouble with a DLookUp on my form (frmMain_data) I have a combo box (cmbType) which pulls it's result from a table (tblRadioTypes). tblRadioTypes has the *ID, Type, and Model as the fields. I want to be able to select a radio in my combo box and have a text box...
