    So I have it working. I have my form pulling the default image, and pulls in the 00001.bmp in if it exists, otherwise it pulls in the default image. As for the edit button....I created a button and input the code per your example. However, when i press the edit button, it gives me the error...

    Yesssssir. Thanks - got it back to normal..... I will have to lookup how to make the mdw apply to only the specific database I guess - Is that what you mean by "use the command line parameter to tell your secure db to use the new .mdw"?

    Is there anyway to actually launch access WITHOUT ribbon, period? For example, after you lock down everything and create an mde file, can you launch that mde without a ribbon or quicklaunch OR maybe just your own File menu.

    is the login security using the access security file or you did yourself. also, how did you make access "dissapear"? In access 2007 (im still using .mdb) i have a hard time making the ribbon go away and the quick shortcut bar go away so you cant tell its access...

    I understand. However......and maybe I'm just not seeing an example that relates to my situation.......what if for the details of the children, you had 255+ different details that you needed to record and produce onto a report......at the end of the day you would have 255+ fields per record...

This form has 8 sections which I ended up breaking up into 8 different tables with respective forms. But I now need to reproduce the info onto a report...
