If you have the back end on the server.. you can set the permissions for the folder on the server to do what you are asking....... No one should be able to view the tables, but you and your team.

This is soooo true. I have only started working in access and man.. they see what you asked them to do then, they ask well can it do xyz?.....etc... What I try to do now is plan for what they might want it to do....

Also make sure your monitor is calibrated so the colors will come out what they should be from monitor to paper. Also what type of paper are you using and what type of printer are you using? I would do what the doc man said, get your printer manual and see what tweeks if any you can do for...

Like others have said, make sure the permissions are set accordingly for where the backend is residing, IE server, desktop etc... Need to make sure the users have the proper permissions for the folder...

are you going to be using the computer 24-7? If not you might want to do daily backups when you are done working. What I use is synctoy from ms. Works great and you can setup which folders/files etc which location and it can back up to multipal locations with one click.... I don't know if...

Don't laugh I am using file maker ver 5 now.... It is a lot easier to use IMHO then access. I can only imagine how the new versions are. If you have worked in access for a while it will take you a little time to get used to the way things are laid out and where they are....... But I like it...
