Option groups - possible to have duplicate values?

Okay this is what I have done. It seems to work but I just want to make sure I have correctly written the code and that it is as "cllean" as possible so that I can cover all eventualities. Basically what happens now is that if a person choosen yes to question 1, questions 2,3, or 4 appear...

Option groups - possible to have duplicate values?

Im not so strong on writing queries. Should I do case statements for that? Wouldnt that require 1 module for each question? or should I be using else if statements?

Option groups - possible to have duplicate values?

The reason that I need to do it to the values now is that I need to produce a report that automatically scores the questionnaire for me. In this way the research assistant can print off the results straight away from any participants without having to mark it by hand

    Subtracting time without date diff

There are really three options: 1. THey go to sleep before 12am and wakeup after 12am 2. They go to sleep after 12am and wake up after 12am but before 12pm 3. They go to sleep after 12am and wakeup after 12pm 4. They go to sleep after 12pm and wakeup before 12am if they were a shift worker for...

Option groups - possible to have duplicate values?

Hi Uncle Gizmo I dont think this work will approach either. THis is a marking guide for a questionnaire that is almost identical (and the precursor) to this one which should give you an idea of what I am looking to do. http://www.ssc.ca/documents/case_studies/2006/documents/sleep_BQ_e.pdf...

    Subtracting time without date diff

Hi I have two fields one which represents the time participants went to sleep, one when they woke up however I dont have any dates - it refers to what they do usually. I dont have a problem with you being involved (you have always been a big help to me!) Im just not sure we are thinking about the same thing. I have attached a pared down version of the database. Look at ClevelandQuestionnaire form to see what I mean. For example question 2, although there...

Option groups - possible to have duplicate values?

Because nothing is displayed on the form? Once the value the participant originally selected in the option group is recoded and placed in the appropriate field in the table that is bound to the form, once you close it and reopen it it looks like the form was never filled out?

Option groups - possible to have duplicate values?

Actually it worked for me (I put the value 1 in the table) when I recreated the option group and selected "keep values for later use" however if I repoen the form it does not hold the chouce that the participant placed in there (because it is unbound)?

Option groups - possible to have duplicate values?

Option groups - possible to have duplicate values?

Actually I was just thinking about it now and if its unbound even if it does as it says it would i.e. backend conversion I wouldnt be able to see the results in the form later? Do you think it would be better to create 2 fields for every question and use the statement to convert 1 to the other...
