Hi, I'm making a statistics page for a student database. It will hold information such as the amount of applicants, amount accepted, how many obtained first class degrees, etc, etc. I'd like to know how you can count these occurances and display them in a report please. Thnksalot, Lee

hi there, I have a query (funnily enough) of around 175 records, i would like to give each record a number starting at 300. But i cant be bothered to do it manually. I know tables have auto numbers, but how would i get this done in a query?

that all makes sense, and I can see how it would work - but TTID is a simple number, guess it just dictates the entry in the table. That seems to stop the query you gave me from running...

i think i know what you mean, but without the criteria the query wont work - because it actually needs the groups to run and display the data... :S

OK, I'm sure I should know this, and I'm sure it should be easy. How do i stop (or at least invoke an error dialog) when duplicate values (In this case group number, time, or room number) are entered into my forms??? Just so no rooms can be double booked, if you catch my drift... Please don't...
