are they going to be using this DB to enter info? I dont know how you are going to package this but if you just put it on the disc it becomes read only and the use r has to changet he properties to change data. You should be able to have the CD autorun and open the program and set the startup...

what do you mean distribute runtime?

you could disable it until a user clicks a button and enters the right password. Or you could use user level security and only let certain users have the form that delete. So make two forms.

thats what I figured

on the Toolbar select View > Totals. That will bring up a new row in the design and choose count from there

dont know how. but just curious why would you need to? Or is it just out of curiosity?
